"Last Call" usually refers to when your favorite bar announces it's serving the last round of drinks. You decide what drink will be the grand finale of your night: a mojito, a martini or a G&T without the G because you're the DD, maybe? In our context "Last Call" refers to someone's obituary, their last hoorah, the last thing anyone will ever read about them.
LC feels a true calling to help people tell that commemorative story of their loved one. As someone who has lost both parents and close friends, she intuitively senses the grief that may engulf you at this time. LC is known for sitting at the kitchen table, soaking up relatives' and friends' conversations about accomplishments, attributes and adventures of that individual who has passed, because our ultimate goal is to celebrate their life.
"Get busy livin' or get busy dyin'."
~ Andy Dufresne/The Shawshank Redemption
A tribute resonates even more when you share what made your family member so unique - his or her funny quirks or endearing one-liners. Let's include details about them, like perhaps how they secretly ran away with the circus when they were 10 or they befriended their local grocery store clerk and ended up joining her poker night.
How do we pay tribute to someone who meant the world to you?
